Bravo Dance Company teaches the foundations of dance in a way that is safe, positive, and allows students to move at their own pace. With various levels of training offered in each style, our studio is able to meet the needs of all ages and ability levels. Whether you have a teen wanting to try to dance for the first time, or an experienced dancer wanting to increase their training, we have a class for that!
We recommend that dancers are seven years old to begin in our Competitive Program. Dancers should contact us for guidance so we can find the perfect fit for their age and experience level. We offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Pom and Acro. Dancers can select the number of classes that they take each week and we can set up a class program that ranges anywhere from a once a week class, all the way up to multiple daily classes. Give us a call and let us help you find the right schedule for your dancer.

This class will emphasize knowledge of ballet terminology and classical technique. Ballet will include barre and center work with a focus on correct alignment and positioning. Continuing ballet dancers will integrate their technique in to not only barre and centre work, but complex progressions and choreography as well. Advanced classes will include including petit and grand allegro, pirouettes, and adagio work.
Contemporary dance takes technical proficiency to the next level by using that technique to bring music and emotion to life. Dancers are asked to become artists on stage and convey a message to their audience. Advanced dancers work on technical proficiency by using that technique to bring music and emotion to life.
From isolations to ground work, freestyle to choreographed sequences, this class moves at a fast-paced through strong, athletic hip hop styles. Experienced dancers who have mastered beginner and intermediate level steps will integrate their training in to more advanced choreography and sequencing.
Jazz dance is a perfect blend of clean lines, energetic movement, and expression. Dancers will learn movement vocabulary including, battements kicks, grapevine, pirouette prep, chaine turns and more. Continuing jazz dancers will increase their movement vocabulary to include jumps, turns, extensions, flexibility, alignment, and balance.
Based in ballet technique, lyrical dance combines strong technical skills with emotional connection and soft movement. Storytelling through dance requires an emotional maturity so this class is offered for our dancers who are a little bit older.
This class is designed for the dancer who wants to expand their knowledge to include training in the area of Broadway style dance. The class will focus on the type of movement and performance skills needed for stage. Music selections will be from well known musicals and give students the opportunity to experience the "triple threat" of singing, dancing, and acting. Focus will be on the dance component of Broadway styles but class will incorporate exercises to improve stage presence and acting improvisation skills.
