MEET BDC

Bravo Dance Co. was founded in 2016 in Martensville, SK as a premier dance studio for children to learn, grow, and excel at dance while participating in an atmosphere that is supportive, pressure-free, and purposeful. Fulfilling and purposeful dance classes, age and skill appropriate lessons that help to develop and challenge students, as well as small-town, personal service is what BDC intended to provided. The team has done this and more, becoming an award winning dance school, winning awards and being recognized for not only their dance teams and choreography, but also their kindness with others.

Dance should be a place where children are excited to go - where they get to learn, socialize, and feel like a part of a team and a family. This is the goal at Bravo Dance Co.

MISS HAILEY LEKIVETZ

Hailey started dancing at six years old with most of her dance training at The Dance District in Rouleau, SK. She has been trained in hip hop, contemporary, tap, lyrical, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, and acro by ADAPT and Acrobatic Arts certified teachers. Although she enjoys all dance styles, she always gravitated towards hip hop, pursuing every opportunity to perform and choreograph in the genre. With twelve years of experience, Hailey is an accomplished dancer who has received many awards and scholarships, providing her with several opportunities and recognition in the dance community. Specifically, she received many awards for her storytelling quality through dance. The greatest aspect that she took away from her dance career is the wonderful friendships and memories that she created.

For two years, Hailey instructed her own dance classes and filled in for classes, with dancers ranging from four to fifteen years of age in hip hop, lyrical, tap, ballet, jazz, and acro. Her choreographed routines have earned recognition, winning overall awards at various competitions. Hailey finds joy in knowing that she has an opportunity to assist and watch students develop into exceptional individuals and dancers. She recognizes that some students train in dance to create a professional career for themselves, while others take part in dance simply out of enjoyment; whatever the case may be, she is grateful to be a part of their journey. Hailey is very excited to join the Bravo Dance Co. team and cannot wait to meet all of the new dancers in the studio!

MISS TORI RAWLAKE

Tori began dancing at the age of 6 at Studio Encore Dance Center in her hometown of Lloydminster, Alberta, where she first discovered her love for ballet. As she grew, so did her curiosity and passion for movement, expanding her training to include jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and modern. Her dedication and versatility quickly became apparent, and by age 13, she was invited to train at an accelerated level with the Encore Elite Dance Company. There, she competed extensively, earning numerous group awards and developing lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

Tori’s love of the stage extended beyond the dance studio. She embraced her inner storyteller through musical theatre, landing lead roles such as Annie in Annie and Flounder in The Little Mermaid. These experiences allowed her to combine her skills in dance, acting, and singing, further fueling her passion for the performing arts.

Following her high school graduation, Tori transitioned into a teaching role, instructing beginner and intermediate ballet and jazz. Teaching became a new creative outlet, and she quickly developed a reputation for her encouraging teaching style and thoughtful choreography. During this time, she earned choreography awards and celebrated group performance wins, but what truly stood out was her ability to inspire confidence and joy in her young dancers.

Currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan, Tori has found a way to balance her academic pursuits with her love of the arts. She is beyond excited to return to the dance world and to bring her experience, energy, and creativity to a new generation of dancers.

Tori looks forward to not only building strong technical foundations but also creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where dancers can express themselves, grow as individuals, and create their own lasting memories. She is thrilled to be part of this community and can’t wait for the incredible season ahead!
