DANCE CLASSES
Acro
Acro Dance is a genre of dance which incorporates elements of gymnastics, jazz, tumbling and basic contortion. Students learn acrobatic tricks such as handstands, cartwheels, chest rolls, elbow stands, walkovers and aerials. Trick movements are executed slowly to emphasize body lines, a graceful motion and picturesque extension.
Acro Dance offers more depth and variety to choreography and creates a much more versatile dancer. To master an acro trick students must develop a good foundation of strength and flexibility, thus emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning involving stretch and strength training.

Our ballet instructors work to develop proper and safe technique and body alignment while encouraging each student to find the creativity and story telling in their movements.
Ballet classes will provide your child with a strong foundation to compliment the rest of their classes. As the foundation of all styles we offer, ballet is mandatory for our competitive dancers. Pre-Pointe and Pointe classes are available for dancers who are ready to study en pointe.
